All our tanks are tested and inspected in accordance with the API 12F standard.
API 12F Tank Dimensions
Tolerances (all sizes): ±1/8” in. for the outside diameter, ±3/8 in. for height.
* The bottom shell course must be 1/4" nominal thickness. Remaining courses can be reduced to 3/16" nominal thickness.
¹ The API 12F standard specifies 15’6”. Industry does 15’3” due to economic and transport considerations.
